Power banks are an excellent source of portable power for your phone and can help in situations when you’re low on power. Like any other types of batteries, power banks need to handled with care to ensure prolonged lifespan and safety. Most power banks use lithium battery cells which emit power from the device to your phone.

All Vida IT power banks undergo a strict quality control testing procedure to ensure safety and endurance. All our power banks are tested and certified using:

1. UN38.3 Battery Cell Test Certificate – This ensures that the battery cell used in the power bank adheres to safety standards for things like maximum continuous charge voltage, cut off voltage, cell numbers, nominal voltage, discharge etc.
2. MSDS Certificate: This is the Material Safty Data Sheet, all our power banks come with MSDS sheets, these sheets outline the hazardousness material with batteries, handling procedures, precautions etc.
3. CE/RoHS: All our power banks are certified with CE and RoHS certificates to ensure they comply with regulations for sale in Europe.
4. AQL: This is our own in-house additional quality control procedure. All our power banks go through 2 quality controls, one during the productions stage and an additional quality control procedure after the production’s stage.

SAFETY GUIDELINES:

• The power bank will generate heat when charging. Use it in the well-ventilated area when charging.
• Always power banks away from heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity, water or other liquids.
• Do not operate the power bank if it has been wet or damaged to prevent electric shock, explosion and/or injury. Improper repairs of this device may place the user at risk.
• Do not use the power bank with wet hands.
• Keep the power bank ports free from dust, lint, etc. that may prevent proper connections.
• Do not use this unit for anything other than its intended use.
• The power bank is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
• Lithium-ion batteries can easily rupture, ignite, or explode when exposed to high temperatures, or direct sunlight. Do not charge under pillows or blankets. They should not be stored in a car during hot weather. Short-circuiting a Li-ion battery can also cause it to ignite or explode. Never open a Li-ion battery’s casing. Li-ion batteries contain safety devices that, protect the cells inside from abuse. If damaged, these can cause the battery to ignite or explode. Do not charge the Power Bank and charge an electronic device at the same time. This will shorten the power bank’s battery life.
